Living in halls: The Reality

It is coming up to the end of the first year of uni, which means I will finally be getting out of halls and back into a home. Sounds like I’m excited right?
Correct, and here is a few reasons why…

1.Fire alarms at all hours
you get the munchies after a night out and fancy a piece of toast but you forget it’s in there and the alarm goes off = everyone else is pissed off you woke them up

2. Not being able to leave the window open because it is far to noisy outside
(Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday)
I can’t understand why drunk people feel the need to shout, your friends don’t become deaf when you drink alcohol

3. Being waaay to hot inside when it is actually -3 outside
I’m usually the only one who isn’t too hot but sometimes it does take the piss

4.Washing machines and tumble dryers that don’t do their job
self explanatory really

slight exaggeration, but you get my point

5. Overflowing showers
inundating the bathroom on a daily basis was never part of my life plan

6. Slow Internet
you want to catch up on Made in Chelsea or Game of Thrones but it just keeps buffering

It’s not all bad though, there are some positives about halls
